Richard P. Fleitas, Psy.D., Founder/Director
Dr. Richard Fleitas is a licensed clinical psychologist in the District of Columbia and Virginia. He has extensive experience in psychotherapy as well as in cognitive, achievement, personality, and neuropsychological assessment with children, adolescents, and adults. His specialty areas include mood disorders and post traumatic stress. Dr. Fleitas has used his clinical and consultation skills in a variety of settings, among them: a neuropsychological private practice, medical clinics, community centers, a military hospital, and numerous schools ranging from preschools to the college level. He is frequently asked to testify as an expert witness in cases involving various aspects of mental health and education as related to children.
Dr. Fleitas co-founded and is a director of International Diagnostic Solutions (IDS). IDS provides mobile related service providers for travel throughout the United States and abroad to work with individuals, families, schools, government agencies, and corporations on issues related to assessment, consultation, and intervention in locations where there is a scarcity of qualified professionals. Dr. Fleitas also co-founded Supporting Parents and At-Risk Kids (SPARK), a nonprofit organization that focuses on early childhood development and education for young families and their children.
Dr. Fleitas received a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communication from Fairfield University in Connecticut. He spent a year in Guayaquil, Ecuador teaching English as a Second Language and providing various social services in an impoverished area. He later received a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Arlington, Virginia.

Jami Temple, Psy.D., Director of Clinical Services
She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Virginia, and received her Master's Degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, DC Campus. Dr. Temple completed an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at The May Institute in Massachusetts, with primary rotations at the May Center for Education and Neurorehabilitation and the Fernandes Center for Children and Families. Dr. Temple has extensive experience providing behavioral therapy and conducting assessments with children, adolescents, and adults with autism, mental retardation, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, and other social-emotional and developmental disabilities. For the last few years, Dr. Temple has provided consultative services and conducted psychoeducational, developmental, social-emotional, and neuropsychological assessments in a wide variety of public and private school settings throughout the greater DC region.
Carrie Tiller, LICSW, Director of Social Work Services
Carrie Tiller is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than ten years of experience in the field of mental health. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boston University and her Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Ms. Tiller served as a social worker at the Hurt Home (formerly the Devereux Children's Center) with children diagnosed with mental health conditions within the DC Department of Mental Health. She has also worked in Baltimore City Schools, served as a caseworker with mentally ill adults in independent living situations, and in group homes. Ms. Tiller has provided individual, group, and family therapy; coordinated services among multiple government and private agencies; conducted assessments; served as a case worker; supervised licensed graduate social workers; and managed a clinical department.
