Richard P. Fleitas, Psy.D., Founder/Director

Dr. Richard Fleitas is a Cuban-American licensed clinical psychologist in Washington, D.C., and Virginia with over 18 years of experience in psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation.. He specializes in mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, and neuropsychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Fleitas has worked across neuropsychological private practice, medical clinics, community centers, military hospitals, and schools both locally and internationally. He is frequently sought after as an expert witness in mental health and education-related legal cases.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Fleitas is at the forefront of AI integration in behavioral health. He advises organizations, clinicians, and institutions on AI-driven solutions that improve decision-making, reduce clinician workload, and enhance patient care. Over the past two years, he has focused on AI prompt engineering, best practices for AI adoption in healthcare, and the ethical application of AI in mental health.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Fairfield University, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.
